2. Split unpeeled zucchini lengthwise and sprinkle cut sides with pepper.
3. Put on heated pan and broil 10 minutes. Put a bacon piece on each zucchini half and top generously with cheese.
4. Broil approximately 5 minutes longer, or until bacon is crisp and cheese is golden brown and bubbly.
