Ingredients:

1 Cup All-Purpose Flour 1 Cup Unsifted all-purpose flour
1/2 Cup Sugar 1/2 Cup Sugar (5.5 oz)
6 Tablespoons Unsweetened Cocoa 6 Tablespoons Unsweetened Cocoa preferably Dutch-process
2 Teaspoons Baking Powder 2 Teaspoons Baking powder double acting
1/2 Teaspoon Salt 1/2 Teaspoon Salt (to taste)
1/2 Cup Milk 1/2 Cup Milk (evaporated is best)
2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil 2 Tablespoons Vegetable oil as needed
1 Teaspoon Extract Of Vanilla 1 Teaspoon Extract Of Vanilla or orange flower water; optional
1/2 Cup Hazelnut 1/2 Cup Finely chopped toasted hazelnuts or walnuts
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar 1/2 Cup Firmly packed dark-brown sugar
1 1/4 Cups Water 1 1/4 Cups Cold water

Directions:

1. Heat oven to 350'F Lightly grease 9-inch-square baking pan.

2. In medium-size bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, 3 T cocoa powder, the baking powder, and salt.

3. Stir in milk, oil, and vanilla until smooth; fold in nuts.

4. Spread batter in greased pan. In small bowl, combine brown sugar and remaining 3 tablespoons cocoa powder; Sprinkle over batter.

5. In small saucepan over low heat or microwave-safe cup in the microwave, heat water just until hot, about 160'F; pour hot water over batter.

6. Bake 45 minutes or until top is crusty and pudding on bottom is thickened.
