1/2 Cup Brown Sugar 1/2 Cup Brown sugar heaping
1/3 Cup Margarine 1/3 Cup Soft margarine or butter
1 Cup Raisin 1 Cup Raisins soaked for an hour in:
2 Unit Eggs 2 Unit Eggs separated, plus 2 egg yolks
1/2 Cup Sugar 1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Corn Syrup 1/2 Cup Corn syrup light or dark
1 Unit Salt 1 Unit Salt and pepper to taste
1 Teaspoon Vanilla 1 Teaspoon Vanilla grated lemon zest or orange zest
1/4 Cup Flour 1/4 Cup Flour more as needed to 7 c
2 Teaspoons Lemon Juice 2 Teaspoons Lemon juice or vinegar

1. Combine 3/4 cup flour, brown sugar and margarine.

2. Mix until crumbly. Pat into an ungreased 9"x9" pan.

3. Bake at 350 degrees 12-15 minutes until lightly browned.

4. Beat eggs, add sugar, syrup, salt, vanilla, 1/4 flour and raisins.

5. Pour over crust in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes Cool before cutting.
