Butterscotch Fondue

This easy fondue recipe is great for small gatherings! Just have everyone bring their favorite thing to dip.

Ingredients:

2 oz Butter
4 oz Sugar
4 tablespoons Maple Syrup
14 oz Evaporated Milk Can
4 tablespoons Unsalted Peanuts Chipped
6 teaspoons Corn Flour
2 Apples (optional)
2 Pears (optional)
2 Bananas (optional)
4 cups Popcorn (optional)

Directions:

1. Put butter, sugar and golden syrup into a saucepan, and heat gently until mixture begins to bubble, stirring occasionally.

2. Allow to boil for 1 minute. Stir in evaporated milk and cook for 3-4 minutes until sauce is hot and bubbling, then add chopped nuts.

3. In a small bowl, blend cornflour smoothly with 2 tablespoons water.

4. Add mixture to sauce in pan and heat until thickened, stirring.

5. Pour into a fondue pot and place over a burner to keep warm.

6. Serve with pieces of apple, pear, banana, and popcorn.
