Buttery Hazelnut Tea Cookies

It's hard to imagine anything beating these cookies for quick and easy, and you won't have to scour the grocery store for off-beat ingredients. They're also delicious!

Directions:
1. Electric Mixer: Cream the butter and sugar together.2. Add the egg yolk, flour and allspice, and blend until well mixed.3. Pat the dough into a 10-1/2x10-1/2" square on an ungreased cookie sheet.4. Brush with egg white and sprinkle with the roasted hazelnuts.5. Bake in a 275 oven for 1 hour, 20 minutes, or until the cookies are a light golden brown.6. Cut into approximately 1-1/2" squares while still warm.
