Cabbage Au Gratin

Try this budget-friendly casserole. It is not only quick and easy to make, but it is packed with flavor.

Ingredients:

1 Cabbage large Head of
1 cup American Cheese Grated
1/2 cup Bread Crumbs
1 tablespoon Butter
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

Directions:

1. Wash cabbage, cut into quarters and steam until tender. Drain.

2. Cut slices off quarters and lay in greased baking dish.

3. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, grated cheese and top with bread crumbs. Dot with butter.

4. Larger amounts can be made by repeating layers.

5. Bake at 400 F. until crumbs are browned.
