Cabbage Casserole

This is an easy to cook recipe that can be prepared from cabbage.It requires a few ingredients that is always available in our refrigerator to make it tasty.

Ingredients:

1 Onion Medium chopped
1 Celery Stalk chopped
3 tablespoons Margarine
3/4 lb Lean Ground Beef
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 Cabbage Medium shredded
2 Apples sliced thin

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 deg F.

2. In skillet, saute onion and celery in margarine 2 minutes.

3. Add beef and salt and stir another 2 minutes.

4. Spread half the cabbage in 2 qt baking dish and cover with half the apples and all the meat mixture.

5. Add remaining cabbage and apple slices.

6. Cover and bake 1 hour. Nice with mashed potatoes or noodles.
