This looks like a really hearty dish, and since cabbage is affordable and available year 'round, I will try this for sure. The flavor combination sounds great!

Ingredients:

1 Cabbage large head corded and quartered
1 cup Chicken Broth
1 cup Cheese Cracker Crushed
1 cup Cream Chicken Soup
1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese grated fine
1/4 cup Milk
4 tablespoons Margarine

Directions:

1. Directions Preheat oven 325 F Cook cabbage in chicken broth on low until tender, drain thoroughly.

2. Save broth for vegetable soup or future use. In a medium bowl, combine creamed chicken soup, cheese and milk pour over cabbage, and toss to combine.

3. Place in greased 9 x 11 in. casserole. Sprinkle crushed cheese crackers over mixture.

4. Melt butter and pour over crushed cheese crackers and place over top of casserole.
