Cabbage Wedges

A simple comfort food that is easy and quick to put together. Pair it with a spicy sausage that you bake along side of the wedges in the oven.

Ingredients:

1 Cabbage medium size cut in wedges
1/2 cup Green Bell Pepper
4 tablespoons Butter
1/4 cup Onion precooked in microwave
1/4 cup Flour
2 cups Milk
1/2 cup White Cheddar Cheese grated
1/4 cup Chili Sauce
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

Directions:

1. Make white sauce out of butter;melt butter in pan, add flour, cheese, and milk.

2. Add salt and pepper to taste as well as chili sauce.

3. Mix in with precooked onion and pepper. Precook the cabbage in a steamer and drain.

4. Pour white sauce over cooked cabbage and put in greased baking dish in preheated 350 F oven for 20 minutes.
