Directions:

1. Mix egg and some of the diced onion with ground beef.

2. Form into small meatballs and pan fry with non-stick cooking spray.

3. Mix roux with 2 cups water. Bring to a boil while stirring almost constantly.

4. The roux will melt and you must stir to keep it from lumping.

5. If it is too thick for your taste, add another cup of water.

6. Let it cook a little more and check for correct thickness.

7. Do not let it stick on the bottom. Put in your meat, vegetables, the rest of the onion, and season to taste.

8. Let simmer until meat and vegetables are done.

A roux is something made from butter and a meat fat (like bacon fat) and it should have been listed.

What is roux? This is not in the ingredients list. Also, these directions stink, they do not give very good directions about what to do with all the ingredients.
