Cajun Hamburgers

A very flavorful kick on an American Staple. I added some sharp cheddar and it went very well with the spice.

Ingredients:

2 lb Lean Ground Beef
1 Green Bell Pepper cored seeded and minced
1/2 cup Scallion Chopped
3 Garlic cloves minced
2 teaspoons Cumin Seeds Ground
2 teaspoons Dried Oregano
1 teaspoon Dried Thyme Leaves
1 teaspoon Paprika
Flakes Red Pepper to taste
Salt to taste
6 Hamburger Buns toasted
Tomato Sliced
Sour Cream

Directions:

1. Combine beef, green pepper, scallions and garlic in a mixing bowl.

2. Add cumin, oregano, thyme, paprika, red pepper flakes and salt to taste; mix until blended.

3. Shape into 6 patties. Broil, fry or grill the meat to desired doneness.

4. Place on toasted buns and top with tomatoes and sour cream.
