If you like pita chips you will love these Cajun pita chips! They are crispy and have a great spicy flavor. Perfect with dip or just to eat plain!


4 Pita Bread
1 tablespoon Margarine melted
1 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Pepper Black
1 teaspoon Hot Pepper Flakes
1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon Dried Basil

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Cut pitas in half horizontally. Cut into 4 equal portions.

3. Separate into 32 pieces. Place on an ungreased baking sheet.

4. Brush with melted margarine. Combine salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, pepper flakes, garlic powder and basil in a small bowl.

5. Sprinkle over pita chips. Bake for 10 minutes or until chips become crisp.
