Cajun-Style Chicken Nuggets

To make cajun style chicken nuggets you must combine 1 onion soup mix, 1/2 cup bread crumbs, 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder, 1 teaspoon cumin seed ground, 1 teaspoon thyme, and 1/4 teaspoon red pepper. Dip 1-inch pieces of chicken brest into mixture and put in 1/2 inch oil and cook over medium until done.


1 Onion Soup Mix
1/2 cup Dry Bread Crumbs Plain
1 1/2 teaspoons Chili Powder
1 teaspoon Cumin Seed Ground
1 teaspoon Thyme Leaves
1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper
2 lb Boneless Chicken Breasts
1 Vegetable Oil

1. Chicken breasts should be cut into 1-inch pieces.

2. In large bowl, combine onion recipe soup mix, bread crumbs, chili powder, cumin, thyme and pepper.

3. Dip chicken in bread crumb mixture, coating well.

4. In large skillet, heat 1/2-inch oil and cook chicken over medium heat, turning once, until done; drain on paper towels.

5. Serve warm and if desired with assorted mustard.
