This is a stuffed mushroom recipe with tasty crab meat and a Cajun kick. Made with fresh mushrooms, this delightfully spicy appetizer will become a crowd favorite when you entertain.
2. Wash and remove stems from mushrooms. Chop stems finely and set aside.
3. Heat margarine or oil in a medium-sized skillet.
4. Add mushroom stems, onions and green peppers.
5. Cook until tender. Remove from heat and add crab meat.
6. Stuff mushroom caps with this mixture and place on ungreased baking dish.
7. Combine cheese, pepper flakes, basil, pepper and garlic powder in a small bowl.
8. Sprinkle over mushrooms. Bake for 20 minutes or until thoroughly cooked.
