This is a very easy recipe. Contains only 6 ingredients and cooks for 3 hours. Practically foolproof!

Ingredients:

3 1/2 lb Boneless Beef Roast lean
1 teaspoon Dry Mustard
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 cup Onion Chopped
7 1/2 oz Tomato Sauce Can
2 tablespoons Vinegar
1/2 teaspoon Thyme Leaves
1/4 teaspoon Pepper Freshly Ground

Directions:

1. Braising in tomato sauce guarantees tender, flavorful beef.

2. Trim all fat from roast. Rub dry mustard and salt into the surface of the meat.

3. Place in a lightly greased, oven-proof dish. Top with onion.

4. Combine tomato sauce, vinegar, thyme and pepper.

5. Pour over roast and cover tightly. Bake at 325 F for 3 hours until meat is tender.
