This is an easy recipe to make a great side dish for your next picnic. It has few ingredients that are easy to find, but does take a few hours to make properly.
2. Fry bacon until crisp and break up into the beans.
3. Fry onion, chopped, in the bacon fat and add to the beans.
4. Add to the fry pan with remaining fat.
5. Brown sugar, mustard, and vinegar.
6. Boil down to 1/3 about 10 minutes.
7. Mix with beans.
8. Bake at 300 F for 1 1/2 hours.
