This recipe provides simplicity in recipe preparation and ease of access to common ingredients found already purchased in most kitchens. To further entice, add one or more of the optional ingredients listed.

Ingredients:

6 Eggs
1 quart Milk
1 teaspoon Vanilla
3/4 cup Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
6 slices Egg Bread (thick) diced
Raspberry Jam (optional)
Cinnamon Ground (optional)
Coconut Flake (optional)

Directions:

1. Beat eggs.

2. Beat in milk, vanilla, sugar and nutmeg. Mix in bread cubes.

3. Turn into greased 2-quart baking dish. Jam or jelly may be swirled through mixture.

4. Or add cherries, raisins or other fruit. Sprinkle with cinnamon and coconut, if desired.
