This recipe is very simple to make, and is fairly quick when compaired to other bread recipes. There are only four ingredients and five simple steps to follow. This is the kind of recipe to make with your kids.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups Raisins Seedless
1 1/2 cups Water
1 Egg Slightly beaten
1 cup Brown Sugar
2 tablespoons Salad Oil
1 tablespoon Orange Grated peel
2 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour Sifted
1 teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda

Directions:

1. Combine raisins and water; bring to boiling.

2. Cool to room temperature. Mix next 4 ingredients.

3. Stir in raisin mixture. Sift together dry ingredients; add, beating well.

4. Pour into greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch loaf pan.

5. Bake at 325 degrees about 60 minutes or till done.
