Yummy and sweet in a snap. This recipe will delight children and grown-up alike.

Ingredients:

4 Carrots large
1/3 cup Margarine or Butter
1/2 cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
1/3 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 tablespoon Water

Directions:

1. Scrape and cut carrots into thin strips.

2. Place carrots in a deep, 1 1/2-quart, heat-resistant, non-metallic casserole.

3. Set aside. In a small, heat-resistant, non-metallic bowl combine remaining ingredients.

4. Heat, uncovered, in Microwave Oven 1 minute or until butter is melted.

5. Spoon butter-sugar mixture over carrots. Heat, covered, in Microwave Oven 7 minutes.

6. Spoon sauce over carrots and heat, uncovered, in Microwave Oven an additional 3 minutes.
