Ingredients:

Cup Butter Cup Butter cold &
Cup Shortening Cup Shortening cold
4 Cups Unbleached Flour 4 Cups All-purpose unbleached flour
1 1/2 Teaspoons Salt 1 1/2 Teaspoons Salt (to taste)
Cup Water Cup Cold water

Directions:

1. In a processor bowl put flour, butter,shortening and salt.

2. Process with on/off switch until the mixture resembles heavy corn meal.

3. I usually hit on/off switch about 10-12 times.

4. Add water all at once and process until it forms a ball.

5. Be careful not to over work! Stop when it isjlust barely pulling together.

6. Place dough on a floured surface and cut into 4 pieces.

7. Roll out as needed or refrigerate or freeze, wrapped in plastic wrap.
