This is a very simple recipe, especially if you use a pre-made pastry shell. Similar to a Banana Cream Pie, but with Cantaloupe.

Directions:
1. Combine sugar and flour in a saucepan; add eggs, mixing well.2. Stir in cantaloupe puree. Cook over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring constantly, until mixture boils and thickens.3. Remove from heat, and stir in vanilla and butter.4. Cool. Pour filling into pastry shell; spread evenly with whipped cream.
