1. In large bowl stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and cloves.

3. In separate bowl combine brown sugar, melted butter and boiling water; pour evenly over batter.
4. Bake at 375 degrees for 45-55 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream.
