Caramel Crunch Pie with Hot Fudge Topping

This is a fairly rich recipe that is sure to satisfy the most demanding sweet tooth! The ice cream adds a unique texture element to the traditional concept of a pie - instead of having the ice cream over the pie a la mode, as is typically done, the ice cream is incoporated directly into the pie as part of the recipe, which makes for a sensational dessert experience.

Ingredients:

1/2 Cup Coffee Liqueur
1 Cup Caramel Topping
1/2 Cup Almond chopped and roasted
1 Quart Vanilla Ice Cream slightly softened
1/2 Cup Toffee Chocolate Candy Bar (3 ounces)
2 Tablespoons Amaretto (optional)
1 Graham Cracker Pie Crust purchased or homemade chocolate
1 Chocolate Sauce jar

Directions:

1. Combine Almond Roca and almonds; set aside.

2. In a large bowl, working quickly, stir liqueur and amaretto into ice cream.

3. Spoon half the ice cream mixture into prepared crust.

4. Pour caramel topping over ice cream, sprinkle with half the toffee/nut mixture.

5. Top with remaining ice cream; smooth.

6. Freeze for at least 2 hours.

7. Spoon Hot Fudge Topping over and sprinkle with remaining toffee/nut mixture.

8. Slice into serving pieces, serve immediately.
