Caramel-Glazed Apple-Pecan Pound Cake

1/2 Cup Sugar (6oz)
1/2 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream or medium size container of Cool Whip (I use Cool Whip)
1 1/2 Teaspoons Vanilla add
5 Eggs hardboiled, chopped
1 Tablespoon Butter room temp.
1 Tablespoon Baking Powder soda
1 Tablespoon Ground Cinnamon (buy at a bulk food store)
1 1/2 Cups Sugar (8oz)
2 Cups Flour seasoned with
1 Cup Butter softened
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar packed
3/4 Cup Pecan chopped
2 1/2 Cups Green Apples chopped

1. In skillet, lightly saute apple chunks in 2 tablespoons butter.

2. Set aside. In bowl, cream remaining butter with sugar until light and fluffy.

3. Beat in vanilla. Beat in eggs 1 at a time. In bowl sift together flour, baking powder and cinnamon.

4. Stir into butter mixture until blended. Fold in apples and pecans.

5. Spoon into greased and floured bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees 1 hour, or until wood pick inserted near center comes out clean.

6. Glaze with Caramel Sauce. CARAMEL SAUCE - Combine brown sugar, sugar and whipping cream in medium saucepan.

7. Bring to boil. Cook and stir, about 2 minutes.

8. Remove from heat. Stir in butter until melted.
