Caramelized Banana

Ingredients:
1 Unit Banana 1 Unit Banana under-ripe
1 Teaspoon Butter 1 Teaspoon Butter small lump
1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar 1 Tablespoon Brown sugar or as much as 3 teaspoons
1 Unit Ground Cinnamon 1 Unit Pinches ground cinnamon (up to 2)
1 Tablespoon Rum 1 Tablespoon Rum brandy, or sherry, (optional)
1. Slice banana in half lengthwise and arrange in a shallow oval baking dish or gratin.
2. Dot with butter, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
3. If desired, drizzle with rum, brandy, or sherry.
4. Bake 8 minutes in a preheated 450 degree oven, or until sugar caramelizes and is bubbling.
5. Cool enough to avoid burning your tongue, then eat.
