Ingredients:

2 Unit Tomatoes *
1 Unit Onion *
1 Unit Garlic *
1 Unit Jalapeno Pepper seed
1 Tablespoon Cilantro
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice to taste (2 to 4)
1 1/2 Teaspoons Vegetable Oil *
1/2 Teaspoon Dried Oregano crushed
1/2 Teaspoon Jalapeno Pepper

Directions:

1. *Finely chopped Mix all ingredients.

2. Cover and refrigerate in glass or plastic container.

3. Refrigerate no longer than 7 days. Yield: about 2 cups of sauce.

4. My cookbook has a note in there stating that a bottled tomato and yellow chili sauce can be substituted in recipes calling for Casera Sauce.
