1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Cup Corn Syrup light or dark
1 Cup Cashew Coarsely Broken
1 Tablespoon Butter Melted And Kept Hot
1 Teaspoon Vanilla or almond flavoring
1 Cup Sugar (or less, to taste)

1. Mix sugar and syrup well in an 8-cup glass measuring cup.

2. Microwave 3 minutes, 25 seconds. Add cashews and mix well.

3. Microwave 3 minutes. Add butter and vanilla.

4. Mix well. Microwave 2 minutes. Add baking soda.

5. Mix well. Pour onto buttered cookie sheet. Cool 20 minutes.
