3 Tablespoons Butter 3 Tablespoons Butter or margarine (up to 3)
5 Unit Cloves Of Garlic 5 Unit Clove Of Garlic chopped
3 Unit Green Onions 3 Unit Green onions chopped
2 Unit Catfish 2 Unit Catfish fillets large
1/3 Cup Flour 1/3 Cup Flour whole wheat
4 Unit Mushrooms 4 Unit Mushrooms large
3 Ounces Beer 3 Ounces Beer light
1/2 Unit Lemon 1/2 Unit Lemon lime or orange juice
1 Worcestershire Sauce 1 Worcestershire sauce recommended (1-2)
1 Rice 1 Rice white

Directions:

1. Brown finely-chopped garlic and onion in butter, sizzling hot.

2. Lightly flour catfish, add to pan with mushrooms.

3. Pour in beer and treat fillets with juice of of half a lemon.

4. Add a couple of drops of Worcestershire. Saute over medium heat, turning, until brown on both sides.

5. Serve on hot plates with rice. Use pan-gravy over the rice.
