1. Grate the apple (including the skin, but not the core) and the skin of the orange into an ovenproof dish.
2. Mix in the juice of the orange and half the sugar.
3. Melt the margarine in a saucepan over a low heat and mix in the oats and the rest of the sugar.
4. Stir until thoroughly coated. Spread over the top of the apple mixture.
5. Stand for one hour before cooking for 20-30 minutes at 375 degrees F NOTES: * Apple and orange pudding with oats on top -- From "Friends of the Earth Cookbook.
