Chcken Pasta Gratin

Ingredients:

1/2 Pound Spaghetti ( linguini or tagliarini or fetuccini) cooked
1 Cup Heavy Cream or fresh cream
2 Shallots or half an onion chopped
1/4 Pound Mushroom sliced
1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese grated
1 Pinch Nutmeg
1/2 Cup Chicken Stock
2 Tablespoons Butter
1 Pinch Cayenne Pepper (optional)

Directions:

1. Shred chicken.

2. Cook shallots and sliced mushrooms in butter until most of the liquid has evaporated.

3. Stir in chicken,seasonings and broth. Bring to boil and cook 2 minutes.

4. Stir in cream, bring to boil. Turn off heat and add half the cheese.

5. Stir in pasta to cmbine. Place into a buttered baking dish.

6. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top and bake at 350 F for 30 minutes. Broil 3 to 5 minutes.
