A perfect romantic appetizer.

Ingredients:

1/3 lb Gruyere Cheese
1/3 lb Mozzarella Cheese
1 1/2 cups Dry White Wine
1 Garlic clove
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Ground Pepper
1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
1 French Bread loaf
1 teaspoon Cornstarch
1 1/2 teaspoons Rum

Directions:

1. Grate the gruyere cheese and mozzarella cheese. Bring white wine to a simmer, but don%u2019t bring to a boil.

2. Add garlic taste. Slowly add both cheeses while stirring constantly.

3. Stir in a figure eight fashion so that both cheese mix evenly for about 5 to 10 minutes.

4. Mix corn starch and rum together in a small cup.

5. Season with a pinch of freshly ground black pepper and a little nutmeg.

6. Add slowly to cheese while continuing to stir.

7. When fondue has slight thickening remove from heat.

8. Serve with French bread slices.
