Cheese Straws Aunt's Recipe

Ingredients:

2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1/2 Pound Butter (or marg.) melted
2 Teaspoons Salt (1 tsp)
3 Cups Flour all purpose (add to above)
1 Pound Sharp Cheddar Cheese
2 Teaspoons Cayenne Pepper or more

Directions:

1. Grate cheese and mix with softened butter.

2. Add sifted dry ingredients. Mix well. Put through a cookie press or roll out thin and cut into strips.

3. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until light brown.
