1 1/2 Pounds Ground Beef lean
1 Onion diced
1 Celery diced
32 Ounces Tomato Sauce small
4 Ounces Mushrooms sliced (up to 12)
1/2 Cup Water reserved from cooking
3/4 Teaspoon Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 Teaspoon Sugar
1/4 Teaspoon Pepper hot red
3 Potatoes thinly sliced
4 Ounces Mozzarella Cheese shredded

1. Cook beef , onion, and celery until browned.

2. Stir in tomato sauce, mushrooms, water, salt, sugar and peppe.

3. Heat to boiling; reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer 5 minutes.

4. Into a 9x13-inch baking dish, spoon 1/3 of beef mixture.

5. Arrange 1/2 of potato slices on top. Repeat, ending with ground beef mixture.

6. Cover dish with foil. Bake in 375 degree oven for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender.

7. Remove from oven. Discard foil. Sprinkle with cheese.
