1 Unit Pie Crust 1 Unit Baked pie crust
1 Pound Ground Beef 1 Pound Ground beef lean
1 Teaspoon Salt 1 Teaspoon Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 Teaspoon Oregano 1/2 Teaspoon Oregano ; crushed
1/4 Teaspoon Pepper 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper hot red
1/2 Cup Dry Bread Crumbs 1/2 Cup Dry bread crumbs fine
1 Can Tomato Sauce 1 Can (8-oz) tomato sauce
1/4 Cup Onion 1/4 Cup Chopped onion
1/4 Cup Pepper 1/4 Cup Chopped green pepper
1 Unit Egg 1 Unit Egg beaten
1/4 Cup Milk 1/4 Cup Milk (evaporated is best)
1/2 Teaspoon Salt 1/2 Teaspoon Each: salt dry mustard, and Worcestershire
2 Cups Cheddar Cheese 2 Cups Shredded cheddar cheese

1. In 2-quart casserole, cook and stir meat until brown, 5-6 minutes.

2. Drain. Stir in salt, oregano, pepper, crumbs, 1/2 cup tomato sauce, onion and green pepper.

3. Turn into crust. Cook on medium for 10 minutes (or high for 7 minutes).

4. Add milk to egg; stir in seasonings and cheese.

5. Place on meat mixture and cook on medium for 2 minutes or high for 1-1/2 minutes.
