Cheesy Baked Apples (100 Calories)

Ingredients:

4 Granny Smith Apples peeled, cored and cut into eights
1/4 Cup Water reserved from cooking
2 Teaspoons Lemon Juice depending on the
2 Tablespoons Sugar
1 Tablespoon All-Purpose Flour plus more
1/4 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon to taste
1/2 Cup American Cheese shredded

Directions:

1. Arrange apple slices in a shallow baking dish; sprinkle with the water and the lemon juice.

2. Combine sugar, flour, ground cinnamon, and 1/8 teaspoon salt; sprinkle over apples.

3. Bake covered, in a 350 F oven about 45 minutes or till apples are tender.

4. Uncover; top with the shredded American cheese.

5. Bake 5 minutes more or till cheese melts. Makes 6 servings.
