A simple but pleasing and quick recipe. Cream cheese gives a rich flavor on it,s own.This filling would be great baked a few minutes in a made up crust or over crumbled plain cookies.
1. Beat cream cheese and sugar in small bowl on medium speed of electric mixer until well blended.
2. Add egg, vanilla and almond extract; beat well.
3. (Mixture will be thin). Stir in cherries and food coloring, if desired.
