Ingredients:

2 Cups Chicken Stock or vegetable stock (up to 5)
1/2 Cup Butter or margarine Softened
1 Cup Cream (or top milk)
1/2 Teaspoon Pepper black, cracked
2 Tablespoons Dry Sherry (in which the dried shrimp was soaking)
2 Tablespoons Flour seasoned with
1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese grated
1/4 Cup Mushroom sliced
1/4 Cup Gruyere Cheese shredded
1/2 Pound Spaghetti broken in thirds &
2 Cups Chicken Breasts cooked, sliced

Directions:

1. Melt half the butter in a skillet.

2. Add flour, mixing well until smooth. Gradually add chicken stock, stirring constantly until it reaches the boiling point.

3. Add pepper, cream, sherry and Gruyere cheese.

4. Cook over low heat 10 minutes, stirring frequently.

5. Correct seasonings. Melt remaining butter in another skillet.

6. Add mushrooms; saute 5 minutes. Add spaghetti and half the sauce.

7. Mix lightly. Pour into a buttered casserole. Mix chicken with remaining sauce; pour on top of spaghetti.

8. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

9. If desired, can be browned under broiler after baking time.
