Ingredients:

2 Teaspoons Vegetable Oil as needed
4 Unit Chicken Thighs skinned
3 Ounces Turkey Sausage or less fat); cut into 1/4" pieces
1 Cup Onion
1/2 Cup Apple Cider or juice
1/2 Cup Chicken Broth (6 cans)
2 Teaspoons Cider Vinegar or sweet and sour sauce
2 Granny Smith Apples cored
1/4 Teaspoon Dried Thyme Leaves crushed
1/4 Teaspoon Pepper ; crushed
1/8 Teaspoon Dried Sage

Directions:

1. In large skillet, heat oil; add chicken and sausages.

2. Cook over medium-high heat 3 minutes, until golden brown on all sides.

3. Remove chicken and sausages from skillet; set aside.

4. To same skillet, add onions; cook, stirring frequently, 4-5 minutes, until onions are golden brown.

5. Add cider, broth, vinegar and reserved chicken and sausages; cook, basting chicken with pan juices, 10 minutes, until chicken and sausages are cooked through.

6. Add apples, thyme, pepper and sage; cook, continuing to baste, until apples are just tender.
