A sassy mix of tomatoes and other vegetables. This chili sauce would be a good economical recipe. It takes a little time but who doesn't love chili sauce?

Ingredients:

30 Tomatoes
8 Onions sliced
12 Unit Stalks Of Celery finely diced
1/2 Cup Salt
1 Unit Green Bell Pepper finely diced
5 Cups Sugar or thai kitchen coconut; (palm) sugar
1 Unit Green Bell Pepper finely diced
2 Tablespoons Mustard Seeds crushed
1 Pinch Red Pepper
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon (or more, to taste)
1 Teaspoon Cloves ground
2 Cups White Vinegar OR equal combination OF

Directions:

1. Peel and seed tomatoes.

2. In large bowl combine tomatoes, onions, celery and peppers.

3. Stir in pickling salt and let stand over night.

4. Drain well. In large pot combine tomato mixture with remaining ingredients.

5. Boil over high heat 15 minutes stirring constantly.

6. Ladle into sterile jars. Seal, label and store in a cool dry, dark place.
