Cinnamon Coffee Puffs

Ingredients:

1 1/2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Salt 1 t.
1/2 Cup Sugar (for decoration)
1 Egg whites room temperature
1/4 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg (optional)
1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon (buy at a bulk food store)
1/2 Cup Milk up to 1
1/3 Cup Butter or margarine softened
1/4 Cup Butter or margarine
1 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour

Directions:

1. Before I left I got a new cookbook.

2. It's called 1998 Taste Of Home Annual Recipes.

3. I just love the recipes from there. If anyone has any requests let me know and I'll be happy to post them for you.

4. Here is a recipe for some muffins that sound good.

5. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar; beat in egg and milk.

6. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg; stir into creamed mixture(batter will be stiff).

7. Fill greased or paper-lined muffins cups two-thirds full.

8. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until muffins test done.

9. Meanwhile, melt butter and combine sugar and cinnamon.

10. Remove muffins from oven; immediately dip tops in butter, then cinnamon-sugar.
