Ingredients:

2 Teaspoons Cornstarch
2 Tablespoons Butter
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice fresh
2 Teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
6 Cornish Hens
1/2 Cup Currant Jelly
1/2 Teaspoon Allspice ground
1/2 Cup Burgundy (or dry red wine)

Directions:

1. Cook glaze ingredients in saucepan until mixture thickens & bubbles.

2. Use as a glaze & also use the remainder as a sauce at the table.

3. Roast hens in 400 oven loosely covered for 30 minutes; remove cover & continue roasting for 60 minutes more. Baste frequently with glaze.
