Cranberry Casserole

Ingredients:

3 Cups Granny Smith Apples peeled and chopped
2 Cups Cranberries
1 1/2 Teaspoons Lemon Juice depending on the
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
1 1/3 Cups Quick Oats uncooked
1 Cup Walnut or pecans
1 1/3 Cups Brown Sugar (optional)
1 Unit Butter melted

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 325 In a shallow 2 qt.

2. casserole, mix cranberries and chopped apples.

3. In a small bowl mix lemon juice and white sugar.

4. Sprinkle this mixture over the cranberries and apples and mix together until just moistened.

5. In another bowl mix together all ingredients for topping and sprinkle over the top of the cranberry mixture.

6. Bake at 325 for 1 hr. and 15 minutes *Be sure to use quick oats.

7. If regular oats are used the recipe will be runny.
