24 Unit Whole Cloves ;
1 Unit Orange zest and sections of
8 Cups Apple Cider (up to 1)
4 Cups Cranberry Juice (optional)
1/2 Cup Sugar (up to 6)
2 Unit Stick Cinnamon each about 4 inches
1 Teaspoon Bitters
24 Unit Allspice ; crushed
1 Cup Dark Rum (up to 3)

1. Press cloves into orange and place it in a heavy saucepan.

2. Add water, cranberry juice, sugar, cinnamon, bitters and allspice.

3. Bring to a simmer, stirring until sugar dissolves.

4. Reduce heat to very low, cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours.

5. Strain into punch bowl or crockpot. Two tablespoons rum to each cup is optional.
