Ingredients:

5 Ounces Margarine
10 Ounces Self-Raising Flour
1/4 Teaspoon Soda
5 Ounces Light Brown Sugar
8 Ounces Dates Chopped
2 Ounces Dried Apricots chopped
1 Ounce Walnut Chopped
1 Egg beaten
6 Ounces Milk (or use about 1/2 C of powdered milk and about 1 C water)

Directions:

1. Set oven to 180C, 350F, Gas Mark 4.

2. Rub margarine into flour and soda. Stir in sugar, dates, apricots and walnuts.

3. Add egg and milk and beat well to combine. Spoon into patty tins lined with paper cake cases and bake for 20 minutes.
