Dessert: Cherry Oat Dessert Squares

Ingredients:

1/3 Cup Sugar confectioner'
1 Cup Walnut or pecans
1 Cup Quick Oats (I use a bit more)
1/2 Cup Margarine soft.
3/4 Unit Flour
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon ground
1 Can Cherry or light cherry pie filling-21-oz.

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 400-degrees.

2. In large mixing bowl mix sugar, nuts, oats, margarine and flour until crumbly.

3. Reserve 1-1/2 cups. Press remainder into bottom of 9-inch square baking dish.

4. Stir cinnamon into cherry filling. Spread over crust.

5. sprinkle reserved crumbs over top, pressing lightly.

6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
