Dilled Cheddar Cheese Batter Bread

Ingredients:

3/4 Cup Milk (or use about 1/2 C of powdered milk and about 1 C water)
1 1/2 Tablespoons Dill coarsely chopped
1 Tablespoon Honey (up to 2)
1/4 Cup Canola Oil divided
3 Unit Eggs room temperature
2 1/2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour preferably organic
1 Package Dry Yeast dissolved in one cup lukewarm water
1 1/2 Teaspoons Salt approximately
3 1/2 Cups Cheddar Cheese cheddar cheese
3 Tablespoons Fresh Dill

Directions:

1. Bring first 3 ingredients to simmer in small saucepan; cool to 120-degrees F Whisk in oil and eggs.

2. Combine 1-1/4 cups flour, yeast, salt and 2 cups cheese in large bowl of electric mixer.

3. Add warm liquid mixture and fresh dill; beat 3 minutes.

4. Add remaining 1-1/4 cups flour; beat 2 minutes.

5. Scrape down sides of bowl. Cover bowl with plastic wrap.

6. Let dough rise in warm draft-free area until doubled, about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

7. Preheat oven to 350-degrees F Butter 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.

8. Do not stir batter down. Spoon half of batter into pan; sprinkle remaining 1-1/2 cups cheese over.

9. Cover with remaining batter; smooth top. Cover and let rise in warm draft-free area until batter reaches top of pan, about 30 minutes.

10. Bake until bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped, about 45 minutes.
