Ingredients:

1/2 Pound Raw Rice long grain
1/8 Cup Shortening (Crisco)
1 Unit Green Onion fine chop
1 Pound Shrimp chopped
1 Unit Butter (5oz)
1 Pound Red Onion chopped
2 Unit Cloves Of Garlic chopped fine
1/4 Unit Red Pepper chopped
Unit Parsley chopped fine
1 Unit Water Heated To 105F

Directions:

1. Cook rice until almost done.

2. Saute onions in shortening, add shrimp and cook until brown.

3. Add garlic, green onions, parsley, salt, red pepper and water.

4. Pour over rice. When water is absorbed, place in large baking dish and dot with butter.
