A traditional Irish Oatmeal dish. Delicious!!

Ingredients:

15 oz Milk
1/2 cup Oatmeal (cracked oat, not a rolled oat)
1 Egg large, beaten
1 Orange zest and juice
2 teaspoons Sugar (to taste)
1/2 oz Gelatin
2 tablespoons Water
8 oz Heavy Whipping Cream whipped
4 oz Fruit Sauce of choice

Directions:

1. Soak the oatmeal in the milk for 30 minutes in large pot. Turn on heat and stir until it boils.

2. Then simmer 3-4 minutes.

3. Pour mixture into a bowl and add the beaten egg, grated orange rind, and sugar to taste.

4. Dissolve gelatine in the orange juice and water, add to the mixture when it's cooled, and then fold in the cream.

5. Pour the whole mixture into a glass bowl and leave to set.

6. Serve with 3-4 tablespoons of chosen fruit sauce on top.
