Ingredients:

1 Unit Graham Cracker crusted
1 Pie Crust
1 Unit Egg slightly beat
1/4 Teaspoon Salt approximately
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon for garnish
1/4 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg (optional)
3/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour sifted
5 1/2 Cups Granny Smith Apples fresh
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice fresh Water
1/2 Cup Sugar confectioner'
1/4 Cup Light Brown Sugar firmly pac
1/4 Cup Sugar confectioner'
1/4 Cup Light Brown Sugar firmly pac
1/3 Cup Butter at room temperature
3 Tablespoons All-Purpose Flour sifted

Directions:

1. Preheat oven 375 degrees.

2. Brush bottom and sides of crust evenly with egg yolk;bake on baking on baking sheet until light brown,about 5 minutes.

3. Remove crust from oven. Combine sliced apples,lemon juice,1/2 cup sugar,1/4 cup brown sugar, 3 tablespoons flour,salt,cinnamon and nutmeg.

4. Mix well and spoon into crust.Mix remaining flour,sugar,brown sugar and butter with fork until crumbly.

5. Sprinkle topping mixture evenly over apples. Bake on baking sheet until topping is golden and filling is bubbling; about 50 minutes.

6. Cool thoroughly on wire rack,at least 4 hours.
