Dutch Schnecken

This is a delicious cake dish. It take 1 hour 20 minutes for the preparation.

Ingredients:

2 Cup Flour As needed
1/2 Teaspoon Salt pinch
5 Tablespoons Sugar (for decoration)
4 Tablespoons Butter or margarine Softened
1 1/2 Teaspoons Cinnamon (generous)
1 Tablespoon Yeast (use yeast only to speed action)
1/2 Cup Butter melted
2 Eggs well beaten
1 Cup Water warm
2 Cups Milk warm

Directions:

1. Dissolve the yeast cake and add one Tbsp of the sugar and the salt and enough flour to stiffen to a sponge.

2. Let rise for one hour, then add the rest of the ingredients, using enough sifted flour to make a soft sponge.

3. Let rise again, then roll out dough on a floured board and cover with a mixture of 4 Tbsp sugar, 4 Tbsp butter and 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon.

4. Roll like a jelly roll and cut in 2 inch pieces.

5. Place on well-greased pans and let rise for a third time, then bake at 400-F for 20 minutes.

1 cup yeast someone had better look at this recipe again. And if someone has never made a yeast product where is the flour? I sugest someone delete this recipe and start over.
